toolWYZE™ Privacy Policy

1. The short version

We collect what we need to run toolWYZE™ for you, and no more. We do not sell your information. We do not use your content to train AI models. You can ask to see, correct, copy or delete your information at any time by emailing support@toolwyze.com.

2. Who we are

toolWYZE is run by MOSO Partnership Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. We are responsible for the information described in this policy.

Our privacy officer is Heather Bayer. You can reach her at support@toolwyze.com or by mail at 49 Glencairn Crescent, Huntsville, P1H2J4, Ontario, Canada.

This policy covers the toolWYZE website, the toolWYZE tools, the free STR AI-Ready assessment, and the emails we send about toolWYZE.

3. Two kinds of information

Information about you. Your name, email, business details, billing records and how you use toolWYZE. We decide how this is used, and this policy explains how.

Information you put into the tools about other people. In running your business you will enter details about your owners, guests, cleaners, team members and leads. That information belongs to your business. We store and process it only to provide the tools to you and on your instructions. You decide what goes in, and you are responsible for having the right to share it and for telling those people how you use their information where the law requires it.

What it does for usGenerate the AI drafts described in section 6

Most of these services store information in the United States, and some in other countries. That means your information may be processed outside the country where you live, under the laws of those countries. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to the law that applies to you.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or with a business that takes over toolWYZE. If toolWYZE changes hands, this policy will continue to apply to your information unless you are told otherwise and given a choice.

We never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own advertising.

6. How AI is used

Several toolWYZE tools use AI to turn what you enter into drafts, such as inspection reports, procedures and owner documents. When you use one of these features, the relevant content is sent through Lovable's AI service to an AI model provider (such as Google, OpenAI or Anthropic, through their cloud hosts) to generate the draft, and the result is sent back to you.

We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not ask any provider to train on it. The AI providers' handling of requests is governed by their agreements with Lovable.

Nothing is decided about you automatically by AI. The drafts are for you to review and use as you choose.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  1. tell you what information we hold about you and send you a copy;
  2. correct anything that is wrong;
  3. delete your information, apart from what the law requires us to keep;
  4. give you your content in a format you can take elsewhere;
  5. stop sending you marketing emails (every email also has an unsubscribe link);
  6. withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting what happened before.

Email support@toolwyze.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it is you before acting on a request.

If your request is about information you or another member entered about an owner, guest or cleaner, we will usually pass it to that member's business, because they decide how it is used.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator: in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in the European Union or United Kingdom, your local data protection authority; in New Zealand, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner; in the United States, your state attorney general where your state's law gives you that right.

9. Cookies and similar tools

We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your settings. These are needed for the tools to work.

We also use analytics cookies, through Google Analytics, to understand how people find and use our website. They do not identify you by name. [Where we are required to, we ask before setting analytics cookies, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner.]

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential ones, the tools will not work properly.

10. Keeping it safe

Information travels to and from toolWYZE encrypted. Passwords are stored scrambled. Access to member data is limited to the people who need it to run the service and help you, and our hosting providers protect their systems to recognized industry standards.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information in a way that could cause you real harm, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

11. Children

toolWYZE is a business tool for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make a significant change, we will email members at least 30 days before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
